Must-Do Activities

Take a Dip in the Natural Spring Pools
One of Forest Camp’s most iconic features is its series of natural spring-fed pools. The cool, crystal-clear mountain water flows freely from the nearby Banica River, offering a refreshing swim unlike any other. With multiple pools of varying depths, both kids and adults can safely enjoy a rejuvenating dip.

Tip: Start your day with a morning swim when the water is freshest and least crowded.

Go Ziplining Over the River
Get your adrenaline pumping with Forest Camp’s zipline adventure. Suspended over the flowing stream and lush greenery, the zipline offers both thrills and scenic views in one exhilarating ride. It’s a must-try for adventurous souls and a fun way to challenge your fears in a safe, nature-based setting.

Bonus: Perfect for family bonding or a quick adrenaline fix before lunch!

Explore the Forest Trails
Forest Camp isn’t just about pools and picnics. For those who crave nature walks, the resort has winding forest trails that let you soak in the fresh mountain breeze and discover local flora. Listen to the chirping of birds, rustling leaves, and flowing water as you stroll along these peaceful paths.

Wear comfortable shoes and take your time—it’s not about the destination, but the experience.

Try Rock Climbing and Wall Climbing
Challenge your strength and balance with Forest Camp’s rock climbing wall, designed for both beginners and seasoned climbers. Under the guidance of trained staff, you can safely scale these structures while enjoying the views of surrounding trees and rivers.

Great for kids and teens too—plus, it makes for awesome photos!

Enjoy a Riverside Picnic or Outdoor Feast
There’s nothing like enjoying local delicacies in an open-air nipa hut with the sound of rushing water beside you. Forest Camp has dedicated picnic areas perfect for family-style lunches, complete with native food offerings from their on-site restaurant or your own packed meals.

Don’t miss their native dishes like grilled bangus, sinuglaw, or kinilaw!

Relax in a Traditional Kubo (Cottage)
Want to truly disconnect? Book one of the rustic kubo cottages and unwind the way locals do—sleep in a nipa hut surrounded by trees, without the distractions of city life. Most accommodations are fan-cooled (you won’t need aircon here!) and designed to blend into nature.

Pro Tip: Stay overnight and fall asleep to the sounds of nature. Pure bliss.

Cross the Hanging Bridge
A favorite for Instagrammers and kids alike, the hanging bridge offers a mini adventure and a chance to admire the view from above the river. It gently sways as you walk, giving just enough thrill while still being safe for all ages.

Capture that moment mid-crossing—it’s an epic backdrop!

Discover Nearby Attractions
Forest Camp is a gateway to many other amazing sights in Valencia. After your visit, consider exploring nearby attractions like Casaroro Falls, Pulangbato Falls, Red Rock Hot Spring, or Mt. Talinis. The resort is the perfect base for your nature explorations around the area.

Ask the staff for directions or hire a local guide if you’re up for more hiking adventures.

9. Bond Over Team-Building Activities
Planning a group outing or company retreat? Forest Camp is well-equipped for team-building games, from obstacle courses to nature-themed activities. With its spacious grounds and built-in adventure elements, it’s an ideal spot for strengthening group dynamics in a fun, outdoor setting.

Don’t forget to book in advance for large groups and activity coordination.

Unplug and Reconnect with Nature
Perhaps the best thing to do at Forest Camp is… nothing at all. Turn off your phone, breathe in the cool mountain air, and let nature reset your mind. Whether you’re meditating by the water, journaling under a tree, or simply lying in a hammock, this is your chance to slow down and reconnect with what matters most.
